Transit Tenement

Transit tenement shall mean habitable residential or non-residential accommodation provided to eligible SRS beneficiaries where they shall reside during the project execution and until they are allotted and handed over their dwelling units in the rehab component. These are usually permanent in nature and constructed from detachable material such as tubular/ prefabricated light structures or such other material, in such a manner that it ensures safety of the inhabitants
